HS 1st Year Online Admission 2024 – Apply via Darpan Portal

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has introduced the “Darpan” online platform for students seeking admission into Higher Secondary (HS) 1st Year courses for the academic session 2024-2025. Students who have passed the HSLC exam this year can apply online through this portal starting from April 23, 2024.

How to Apply for Assam HS 1st Year Admission

Students aiming to enroll in HS 1st Year courses across various institutions under AHSEC should follow these steps:

  1. Scroll down to the Important Web Links section.
  2. Click on the HS 1st Year Online Admission link.
  3. Register a new account on the portal.
  4. Enter personal and educational details.
  5. Upload a scanned copy of a passport-sized photograph and the 10th mark sheet.
  6. Create a 4-digit Login PIN and click register.
  7. Log in again by clicking the HS 1st Year Online Admission link.
  8. Select your preferred course and institutions (up to five).
  9. Submit the form and print a copy for future reference.
  10. Regularly check the portal for updates on admission status.

Checking the AHSEC Admission Merit List

Students who have applied can check the merit list by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Important Web Links section.
  2. Click on the HS 1st Year Merit List link.
  3. Enter your Mobile Number, Date of Birth, Security PIN, and click Login.
  4. View your submitted applications and admission status.
  5. If selected, click on the Accept Admission Request link for your desired institution.
